After seeing this movie, I couldn't wait to get back home to my sketchbook. These characters are a joy to draw I'm not sure which is better, "Nightmare Before Christmas" or "Corpse Bride" , but I know that these ones are more fun to sketch. I haven't done a decent-looking Emily yet, but I'm sure one will be coming pretty quick.
I loved how all the different colours of pencil turned out on Victor, who was drawn first, and tried to imitate the style again with the bottom right picture of Victoria, but it didn't turn out as good.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, get thee to a cinema!
Oh, I haven't seen it yet. ;_; I want to SO badly but can't for like a week or so. I really hope it'll still be out! It looks so lovely, in the style of t3h Nightmare before Christmas! I've been wanting Mr. Burton and his team of awesome people to do a movie in the stop-motion cool style for so long and now they DID IT and I can't see it. >_< *counts hours*
Beautiful drawings, though, especially of Victor! ^_^ Ye've whetted me desire.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

the only reason why smart people are labeled as geeks or dorks is because the "norm" of society is to be a jaded idiot
there is at least one thing in everyone's gallery that deserves a fav, it just all depends on how hard you look
