I've heard a tiger's eyes described once as strong, yet sad-looking (dun ask where, I don't remember). I don't know about a real tiger, but this seems like a good description for Isis (therefore, I tried to make her look sad... did I succeed?).
It seems that whenever people talk about poor poor Malik and his awful past, everyone forgets about her. I mean, she was the helpless witness to everything: her brother's torture (ie the initiation ceremony), Rishid's beatings, her father's murder, and finally Malik and Rishid's estrangement. Shizuka even muses in the manga about how sad her eyes look, so ...

Anyway, I'm kinda happy with how she turned out, though I'm not so sure about how her shoulder and stuff looks. I just used pencil, but changed the colour in Photoshop and added a few gradients, as you can see. This took me maybe about 45 min in total. Meep, she looks a lot different from the anime or manga!

That's veeeeeeery nice. Her shoulder's okay, a little too... smoothed out with the back... too melded Iguess. Go look at pictures of people's back shoulders.

Wowww XD she definitely looks like a real rendering of Isis though :3 that was my exact first thought when I saw it too ^^;... I don't know too much about her character o_o but as you put in the description, it does fit :D
